A motorcyclist suffered ‘serious injuries’ in a crash on an A-road near Chipping Norton.

The victim was taken to hospital after the collision on the A361 at the Great Tew junction just after 6pm on Wednesday, July 26.

Two drivers are under investigation for suspected driving offences.

A police spokesman said: “If you witnessed this collision please phone 101 using the reference 43230332551.”

A drone was used to provide visual evidence of the scene by Thames Valley Police’s rural crime taskforce as it assisted the roads policing unit following the crash.

The taskforce is equipped with a fleet of drones to assist with capturing evidence and locating suspects around the county.

Drones are unmanned aircraft that are controlled remotely. They are more formally known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) or unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
