The average advertised salary for a job in Oxford is £31,495, according to new research.
The figure eclipses the national average for advertised salaries of £30,311.
Researchers from allthetopbananas.com compiled the research by looking at 31,978 jobs advertised in Oxford in the past six months.
Dave Martin, the company's managing director, said: "This is the eighth month we have issued our salary index and the eight month in a row there has been an overall increase in advertised salaries."
