A cyclist has been charged in connection with a crash that killed an 81-year-old woman in Oxford last year.
Polly Friedhoff died following the collision on the footpath that runs alongside the River Thames near Iffley Lock at around 12.40pm on November 20.

Edward Breeson, aged 55, of Newton Road, Oxford, has been charged by postal requisition on suspicion of careless cycling on May 20 and causing bodily harm by wanton or furious driving on July 12.

The charges relate to a collision involving a cyclist and a pedestrian on the footpath near Iffley Lock at around 12.40pm on 20 November last year.

Ms Friedhoff suffered serious injuries in the crash and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington.
She died in hospital on December 2 and her next of kin have been supported during the investigation by specially trained officers.
Breeson is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (July 25).
