A woman in her 30s was seriously injured in a crash on the A34 near Abingdon yesterday (July 22) which left traffic at a standstill.
A silver Volvo XC60 and a blue Mazda parked in a layby collided on the southbound carriageway between Marcham and Didcot at around 11.35am.
The woman was taken to hospital where she remains in a stable condition.
A man in his 50s was also injured and is still in hospital.

The road was closed for several hours yesterday afternoon (July 22) with the carriageway not fully re-opening until around 7pm.
Up to 50 minutes of delays were reported throughout the course of the closure.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash.
Investigating officer Sergeant Joe Clamp, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit based at Bicester police station, said: “We are investigating the circumstances of this collision on the A34 yesterday.
“We are requesting the public’s help and would ask anyone who has not yet come forward as a witness to do so.
“We are also looking for anyone who may have dash-cam footage of the incident or the moments leading up to the incident to please check their footage and upload it to our online evidence site."
