But the wet weather is expected to clear as we head into the afternoon.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of rain and flood alerts for much of the UK today.
It comes as music-lovers have headed to Truck Festival in Steventon this weekend.

The festival, now in its 26th year, is Oxfordshire’s biggest celebration of pop and rock music.
Heavy rain yesterday has made the Hill Farm site muddy underfoot, but this is yet to dampen spirits.
Festivalgoers have pointed out that the mud is yet to reach ‘2017-levels.'

Temperatures in Oxfordshire are not expected to exceed 22C all week.
The wet weather across the UK comes as some parts of southern Europe experience extreme heat and wildfires.
Flights to the Greek island of Rhodes were cancelled today due to the threat of rapidly spreading fires.
