John Howell, the Conservative Party candidate, has won the Henley by-election for the Conservative Party with 19,796 votes.
He beat the Labour candidate Richard McKenzie into fifth place.
Mr McKenzie, who polled 1,066 votes, was beaten by the Green and BNP party candidates and lost his deposit.
