LONG queues of traffic built up on the M40 in north Oxfordshire tonight after a traffic light failure.
The lights failure on the A43 at Baynards Green led to long queues of traffic on the northbound carriageway from junction ten back to junction nine at Wendlebury.
Long queues were also reported on the southbound carriageway between the two junctions.
Traffic was also reported as tailing back on the A34 from the M40 at junction nine for nine miles to Oxford.
Further problems were reported on the A34 northbound with one lane blocked due to a broken down car on the Western Bypass a mile before the Botley Interchange.
