A mum who waddled around this month's Race For Life while eight months pregnant has given birth to a girl.
Amy Beatty, from Witney, welcomed baby Niamh, pictured, into the world just 10 days after completing the 5km course around Oxford's University Parks in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Niamh, who weighed 7lb 10oz, was joined at the John Radcliffe Hospital by 17-month-old sister Siobhan and dad Paraic.
The athletic mum will introduce her new arrival to another Cancer Research run later in the year when she and her cousin, Lorna White, push prams around a 10km course at Blenheim Palace, Woodstock.
Mrs Beatty, 21, said: "I really enjoyed the Race for Life and had a great laugh.
"I can definitely see Niamh following in my footsteps when she is older."
The charity's Relay For Life, a 24-hour endurance event, takes place tomorrow at West Witney Sports Field in Burford Road.
Entry is free and entertainment includes live music, stalls and a hog roast. The event starts at 12.30pm.
