Additional works have been taking place on the narrow Botley Road underpass amid wider plans at the train station.
The closure of Botley Road first started on April 11 and is expected to last until October.
The timetable of works was agreed with the county council so a £161 million upgrade of Oxford Rail station can take place.
Oxford MP Layla Moran has previously expressed “serious” safety concerns about the narrow throughfare which runs underneath the bridge near Oxford station.

Today (July 19), additional works have been taking place on this footpath creating less space for both pedestrians and cyclists to pass each other, with two lanes of traffic being reduced to one.
The works which were being carried out by a utility company have now been completed.
The thoroughfare is regularly used by pedestrians and cyclists.
The works taking place are not in connection with Network Rail's existing project at the railway station.
