The Back Lane Tavern describes itself a ‘local pub, wine bar and small plates restaurant.’
It was the ‘overall winner’ at the Oxinabox awards in 2023.
The pub offers tapas style dining with influences from all over the world.
It was opened in 2021 after a £350,000 refurbishment of the former King’s Head pub.
The inspection was carried out by the Food Standards Agency on July 5.
They assessed the pub in relation to levels of hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and management of food safety.
