A pub which describes itself as a 'charming 17th century pub' in Oxfordshire has been handed a new four star hygiene rating.
The George Inn on Lower Street in Barford St Michael near Banbury was given the score in a recent inspection.
This means that hygiene standards are good at the pub.

The George Inn is on the edge of the Cotswolds.
The pub also operates as a boutique hotel and has nine individually decorated bedrooms.
The inspection was carried out by the Food Standards Agency on June 8.
They assessed the pub on levels of hygienic food handling, the cleanliness and condition of facilities and management of food safety.
It means that of Cherwell's 82 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 55 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
