Staff and pupils at an Oxfordshire school have toasted a special 150th year milestone.
A morning of sports and a family picnic took place at Clanfield Primary School near Bampton.
The children also took part in the school’s first ever sponsored colour run, which raised around £1,090.
On June 23, the school’s headteacher, Kim Rogers, welcomed, former staff, pupils and governors for ‘a trip down memory lane’ with photos from the past 150 years.
The evening was topped off by the unveiling of a 150-year mosaic made using the school emblem and ideas from the children.
The community supplied traditional games, such as a coconut shy and hook-a-duck, and an old steam train and a vintage car.
A total of £7,800 has been raised for the school.
