After record-breaking high temperatures in June, July has been a significant contrast for many.

Earlier this week, the Met Office's chief meteorologist Andy Page said: "The UK is predominantly under the influence of low-pressure, which is continuing a showery regime, with some potentially heavy and thundery showers possible at times through the week.
“While not everywhere in the UK will experience the heaviest downpours, it will remain an unsettled and relatively cool period, in stark contrast to the heat we experienced in June.”
The Met Office predicts heavy showers from Friday and through the weekend in Oxford with a yellow weather warning in place on Saturday.
The weather company has warned people to expect "an unreasonably windy day" with delays to transport "likely".
Light showers are forecast on Saturday as well from 10am to 7pm with a 70 per cent chance of rain forecast by the Met Office for 1pm.
Friday is also set to have heavy rainfall which is expected to be persistent from 8am to 8pm with a 90 per cent chance of rain from 10am to 1pm.
Sunday has a smaller chance of rain with only a few light drizzles at around 4pm.
