Six illegal street traders were each fined £100 after being convicted following an Oxford City Council crackdown.
Yosef Arvatz, of Edgware, Middlesex, admitted illegal street trading and aiding and abetting others to do so during a hearing at Oxford Magistrates' Court.
Five others were convicted of illegal street trading in their absence. They were Cornelia Pop and Bleiner Sivana, of Hendon Way, London; Paris and Edward Gray, of Frog Lane, Bristol; and Ernesto Terrez, of Beckett Street, Oxford.
The group, who were also each ordered to pay £225 costs, were caught during a council-led operation with police, trading standards and immigration officials last September.
The case against Nitsah Tsfahia, of Mansfield Road, London, was adjourned until Friday, August 1, and three further cases were withdawn.
