A popular vegan and vegetarian restaurant in Oxford has been handed a new food hygiene rating.
Chickpea at 2 King Edward Street was given a five-star score after an assessment on June 14.
This means that food hygiene standards are 'very good' at the establishment.

Chickpea opened earlier this year and is the brainchild of Oxford foodie Will Pouget.
Mr Pouget also runs the famous Vaults and Garden café and the Alpha Bar in the Covered Market.
Chickpea offers a take on Middle Eastern cuisine with dishes inspired from countries such as Iran, Morocco, Israel and Egypt.
The inspection was carried out by the Food Standards Agency.
The agency assesses businesses on levels of hygienic food handling, cleanliness of facilities and management of food safety.
