A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted rape after armed police were called to a cemetery in Oxford.
At around 2.46pm on Friday (July 7) officers in riot gear were called to Magdalen Road after reports of a concern for safety.
The officers were also seen outside the St Mary and St John Church on Cowley Road.

The following day (July 8), a 35-year-old man from Oxford was arrested on suspicion of attempted rape.
A video sent to the Oxford Mail shows the armed squad stood outside the entrance to the cemetery, seemingly in conversation.
An eyewitness told the Oxford Mail: “I was just walking by and they were patrolling the cemetery with guns strapped to them.
“Then the police helicopter was above and circling Cowley Road.”
