A village pub in Oxford is set to reopen its kitchen next Thursday.
The Prince of Wales in Iffley closed for eight months after their new owners took on a new tenancy but it will soon be ready to serve food once again.
The new owners have been building up a customer base and are excited to start welcoming visitors back.

Mathew Dodds, the new owner, said: “We’ve been open for just over a month for drinks only and have been starting to get a customer base together.
“We are very excited about the new opening of the kitchen.
“I’ve been a chef my whole life and the kitchen is my happy place.”

Dishes on the "exciting" menu include their very own pub special fish and chips, which comes with crushed peas, lemon and Prince’s sauce for £16.
Mr Dodds said the pub would have a refurbishment later this year and this would be paid for by the brewery.
Food will be served between 5pm and 9pm on Monday, Thursday and Friday, and it will be available between 5.30pm and 9pm on Saturday.

On Saturday, the pub will be open for food briefly at lunchtime between 12pm and 2.30pm and on Sunday roasts will be available between 12pm and 4pm.
Food will not be served on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The pub can be found on 73 Church Way in Iffley, and a car park is available on site for visitors to use.
