Residents will be treated to the sight of the Red Arrows flying over parts of Oxfordshire this evening (July 6).

The RAF aerobatics display team will soar over several towns and villages in the north of the county before heading south.

Here's the route and timings.

Between 6.33pm and 6.40pm, the planes will fly directly over Banbury and pass north of Hook Norton and Chipping Norton.

Then, between 6.44pm and 6.49pm, the team will fly south of Wantage and over Harwell, south Didcot, East Hagbourne, North Moreton, and Brightwell-cum-Sotwell towards Watlington.

The flyover is part of a circular practice display route from RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire, where the team is based.

During the display season, the Red Arrows often carry out two shows and several flypasts in one day.
