Sir - I noted your pictures of the latest floods, and comments that proper funding is still unlikely to be come available to deal with flooding in this area.
Central government seems happy to pour vast sums of money into the war on terrorism, which will reduce our chances of being blown up from very, very small to, er, very, very small.
Might they not see fit to spend money on precautions against the flood risk which seems pretty much guaranteed these days? I am happy to offer some training in understanding risk, if it might help.
