A trainee architect thrown out of a Jericho cocktail bar for groping a female student made a pass at the same woman barely a week later.
Parham Safarimooki, 28, touched the woman’s breast over her clothing at the Duke of Cambridge cocktail bar in the early hours of June 5 last year after telling her ‘I can see you’re not wearing a bra’.
He was kicked out of the Little Clarendon Street premises when she told a barman what had happened.
Little more than a week and a half later, on June 13, he bumped into the same woman; this time at Hanks bar in Queen Street.

Prosecuting, Matthew Knight told Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 29) that despite the earlier incident, Safarimooki came over to his victim and put his hand in the small of her back.
She challenged him about his behaviour previously, saying what he had done was sexual assault. The man was said to have replied with ‘yeah probably’. He offered to buy her a drink, ‘the penny simply not dropping with him about his conduct’, Mr Knight said.
In a victim impact statement, the woman said the assault had affected her mental health and had hit her academic work.
“The actions of one man have had a huge impact and his actions are unacceptable. I did not deserve this last year of pain and anguish,” she said.
The prosecutor asked judge to consider the contents of a pre-sentence report, authored by a probation officer, in which Safarimooki expressed what Mr Knight described as ‘some self-justification’. He said: “He thought the victim had somewhat seduced him."

Safarimooki, of Sheriffs Drive, Oxford, pleaded guilty at an earlier crown court hearing to sexual assault by touching. He had no previous convictions.
Mitigating, Gareth James said his client, a student architect who had sought to address his alcohol consumption since the incident last summer, had ‘misinterpreted the situation’.
He played the CCTV from the Duke of Cambridge, which showed the pair at the bar. The incident lasted little more than seconds.
It was suggested that the victim had been ‘flirting’ and that ‘Mr Safarimooki has misread the signals and has gone further than he ought’.
A sceptical Judge Ian Pringle KC asked: “In what way do you say she was flirting with him?”
Later, imposing a three-year community order with a one-month curfew and up to 60 rehabilitation activity requirement days, the judge told Safarimooki: “You have got to understand and understand very clearly that everyone’s body is their own and it’s only with the permission of someone else that you are allowed to touch anyone else’s body.
“Is that clear? I hope so.”
Safarimooki will be on the sex offender register for five years.
