Police this evening appealed for information after a crash in which a driver was seriously injured.
At about 9.55pm yesterday, a black Mercedes was travelling on the A4074 from Reading towards Oxford when it left the road and ended up in a ditch near Preston Crowmarsh.
The driver, a 40-year-old man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with serious injuries.
PC Russell Irwin, based at Abingdon police station, said: "I would like to appeal to anyone who saw the crash or who may have seen the driver of the Mercedes before the collision to contact me."
Anyone with information can contact PC Irwin via 0845 8 505 505, or if you don't want to talk to the police or give your name, call the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.
