Sewer investigations have forced the closure of a main road through an Oxfordshire village.
Thames Water has apologised after the closure of the B480 became necessary due to the need to carry out an emergency sewer investigation.

The road runs through Cuxham and a definitive date for the completion of the investigations has not been given.
Thames Water said work was expected to be finished by later this week and a road diversion would remain in place in the meantime.

A spokeswoman for the company said: "We will always look to take a collaborative approach with the local authority to planned improvement and urgent repair work, to minimise disruption to residents, businesses and motorists and we apologise for any disruption during this time."
