The driver, named locally as Tom, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The Oxford Mail asked Thames Valley Police for an update on his condition today but were told there had been no significant change.
Tributes have poured in for the three victims and flowers have been left at the scene.
A framed photo, a Liverpool football shirt and a bottle of Disaronno were also left as tributes poured in when the road reopened.
A single croc footwear was also among the items left amid a sea of flowers next to the tree which the car hit.
Ethan’s girlfriend Amber left an emotional message for him at the crash site.
She wrote: “Ethan, you were the kindest, loving and caring person I’ve ever met.
“Over the last two to three years, you’ve made me the happiest I’ve ever been.
“I adored being your girlfriend.
“I’ll love you forever.
“I love you, Ethan.”
