Oxford Ice Rink has been forced to close again due to the hot weather, while essential maintenance is carried out.
The rink on Oxpens Road has been shut since Friday to allow for work on the ice to be carried out.
It has been previously reported that the gas system used to cool the ice hasn’t been able to freeze due to the warm weather.

Oxford Ice Rink is operated by Fusion Lifestyle which has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
The facility is usually open until 1.30am on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
On Thursdays, it is open until 10.45pm.
The rink is also accessible to children and skate aids can be hired for sessions at £5.20 each.
The skate aids are sold on a first come first served basis and are strictly limited to children aged 14 and under.
The Oxford Mail contacted the ice rink for comment but the phone lines were not being answered.
