George Michael fans are flocking to the Oxfordshire village where the superstar singer lived for 17 years to celebrate what would have been his 60th birthday on Sunday.
Three lifelong fans Debb Peate, Dee Palmer and Rachel Alderton have collaborated with tribute artist Steve Mitchell to put on a celebration event at Goring Village Hall tonight.
All the money raised by the George Michael Live event will go to the Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity, a charity which George supported.
Mr Mitchell said he was "delighted to be asked to perform".

"I am also a big George Michael fan and doing this for such a good cause is really important for me and his fan base," he said.
"I have been doing live events for many years now and have enjoyed performing all over the world. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone and enjoying the night.”
The Catherine Wheel pub in the village is also staging a free festival weekend featuring local talent to mark the event.
George died, aged 53, on Christmas Day 2016 at his riverside home in Goring.
The alleyway next to his home became a shrine with flags from all over the world adorning the walls, photographs, teddy bears and fresh flowers.
The organising team said: “We are really excited to celebrate George Michael’s birthday and can’t think of a better way than with his music and not only that but raise funds for the Rainbow Trust Children’s charity which he proudly supported.

“On behalf of all the fans, we would like to thank him for his music and we believe this is how we can do just that and would welcome support from all to raise as much money as possible.
“In the meantime, we would like to thank those for donating their time, goods and services free of charge including Steve Mitchell.”
