On behalf of all the people who are kept waiting in long queues at the post office in St Aldate's in Oxford, I'd like to express my disgust at the disgraceful service.
We are being kept waiting in queues of up to 38 people for 40 minutes, with the queue going right on to the street.
Since our local post offices have closed, we have no option but to travel into the city centre.
I am not referring to an isolated incident.
Within the last 10 days, I have counted queues of 24, 34 and 38 people, with only two or three counters open.
What is more, I understand it is the policy of the Post Office to encourage its employees to sell its products, insurance, and so on, even if the queues are trailing out on to the street.
I hope all those people kept waiting in the long queues will complain to the Post Office to demand a better service.
Having closed our local post offices, that is the least it can do.
