A Bicester police officer will stand trial in August accused of racially-aggravated assault and public disorder.
PC Georgia Williams, 29, of Robert Road, Haddenham, was expected to appear before High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court today (June 22) facing a catalogue of assault and public order charges.
However, court documents show that the case was heard at the Buckinghamshire court on June 15, some seven days before Thames Valley Police said it would be when the force issued a press notice about the case last month.
Williams pleaded not guilty to racially aggravated common assault and alternative counts of assault by beating of three different individuals, and racially-aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting behaviour.
The offences were all allegedly committed in Walton Street, Jericho, on December 17 last year.
Williams, who is currently suspended from her duties with Thames Valley Police, will stand trial on August 17.
