Abingdon and Witney College principal Jacqui Cantons said: “We were shocked and devastated at the news of the deaths of two of our students this week – they were vibrant and energetic young men with their whole lives ahead of them and this is such a sad and tragic loss.
"Our thoughts are with their families and loved ones at this time, and we are working hard to ensure our college community, staff and students have the support they need to process these events."
It has been confirmed one of the boys that attended Abingdon and Witney College was Elliot, 17, from Southmoor.
The families of Elliot and Daniel Hancock, 18, also from Southmoor have since paid tribute to the teenage boys.
The other teenager, aged 18, named locally as Ethan, was also killed in the crash.
Flowers and pictures have been left outside the school as the community pays its respects following the tragic news.
Authorities said at 4.30pm on Wednesday, June 21, the driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old man named locally as Tom, remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Floral tributes were also laid at the scene roadside with one message reading "RIP Ethan. You'll be missed by everyone”.
One 19-year-old from Wantage who knows Tom told the Oxford Mail: "He's a very genuine lad who is known by everyone.
"We have always known him to be the life of the party."
The force is urging to anyone with information to call 101 or make a report online to Thames Valley Police quoting the incident number 43230270542.
