New plans would see up to 60 homes built on an agricultural field on the outskirts of Wantage.
An outline planning application to develop the land known as Fuller's Field, near Charlton, has been submitted by the executors of the Stanley Thomas Pinnel Estate to Vale of White Horse District Council, the planning authority.
The site is surrounded to the north by the Crab Hill development, part of the larger Kingsgrove development, of which some areas are built while others are under construction or consented.

The proposed homes would be integrated with the Kingsgrove development, with links to the new and planned facilities including education, shops, and employment.
There would also be provision of play facilities, small village greens and squares, and children’s play spaces within the new development.
The homes would bring local road improvements, including new and improved pedestrian and cycle links to existing public rights of way providing access to the nearby facilities and the surrounding countryside.
