The planned closure of a section of the A34 in Oxford will no longer go ahead this weekend.
The northbound section of the road between Botley and Peartree - which would have been closed from 9pm on Friday to 6am on Monday - will remain open.
This would have been the fourth weekend of closures while National Highways continue re-waterproofing and making repairs to Wolvercote Viaduct.
The previous closures have caused traffic chaos in Wolvercote.
Please be aware that the advertised weekend closure of the #A34 between #Botley and #Peartree is no longer going ahead

A National Highways statement said: "We need dry weather to carry out the waterproofing work we have been doing.
"We hope to complete the remaining waterproofing and surfacing works before 26 June.
"This may involve a further weekend closure but we will let people know in advance when that's likely to be. We may also still need another single night time closure to complete the road-marking works."
