New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of South Oxfordshire’s eating establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The Red Lion, a pub, at 115 High Street, Chalgrove, Oxford, was handed a four-out-of-five rating after assessment on May 10.
Scoring a four on a food hygiene assessment means that the business's standards are good.
The 15th century gastropub in the picturesque village has oak beams, an inglenook fireplace and gardens leading to a brook.

A path cuts through the grass to the front door, accessed by a tiny bridge across a stream.
The pub, which is owned by the local church, serves real ale and hearty modern dishes.
And Spoon, a cafe at 45 Duke Street, Henley-On-Thames, was also given a score of four on May 10.
It describes itself as "a vibrant independent cafe supplying delicious coffee and classic dishes with a contemporary twist".
The cafe has a deli counter and sells sandwiches, cakes and bread.
