Aston Rowant's prolific opening batsman Alex Jewell hit a fine 113 in their top-of-the-table clash with leaders Bicester & North Oxford, before rain meant the match ended in a draw.
Jewell's century and useful knocks of 44 by Tom Morgan and 40 not out by Wesley Morrick took Rowant to 215-5. Only off spinner Paul Jeacock (3-55) enjoyed much success with the ball.
The loss of overs to rain deprived both sides of the chance to steal a march on their rivals, as Bicester closed on 112-5, of which DarRyl Woods scored 36.
Bicester & North Oxford 6pts, Aston Rowant 12.
Shipton-under-Wychwood were the day's only top-flight winners, seeing off Banbury 2nd by seven wickets.
Sahan Wijeratne was their hero, taking 3-29 as Banbury were bowled out for 167 and then hitting an unbeaten 86 as Shipton cruised to victory.
Other notable performances came from Banbury's former Oxon opener Andrew Sabin, who hit 72, Shipton left arm spinner Shaun Miller, who took 3-43, and Shipton batsman Tim Senior (33).

Thompson declared one over early with the home side's score on 219-7.
Downs lost their way after a steady start as medium pacer Dan Gaunt took 4-39 and Umair Ghazali 3-26.
But Jamie Perkin hit 43 and the tail blocked out the final few overs to avoid defeat.
Cumnor 17, Oxford Downs 8.
Great & Little Tew were grateful that rain curtailed Horspath's innings as it meant they avoided defeat for the first time this season.
Put into bat, Tew recovered from 76-5 after 30 overs to post 210-8 thanks to Justin Parker (74) and newly-appointed captain Kevin Taylor (54).
Dean Creed took 4-91 from 18 overs and Will Eason 3-61 for the visitors, whose reply was reduced to 42 overs due to rain between the innings.
The increased run rate required proved beyond Horspath, who closed on 195-6 with Eason 39 not out.
Great & Little Tew 13, Horspath 10.
Rain also spoiled the match between Banbury Twenty and Oxford 2nd, which ended honours even.
Richard Hawkins, making a rare appearance for Twenty, hit 53 and Dave Clark a brisk 85 not out in the home side's 258-7.
Sean Oliver took 4-74 for Oxford, who then played for bonus points in reaching 170-1.
