BESSEM CHAOUCH, 40, care of Bridge Street, Banbury, was found guilty in his absence of failing to comply with an Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act order preventing him from returning to Bridge Street in the town. The offences were committed on January 6 and 7. Separately, he admitted possession of an air pistol and cocaine in Banbury in October 2021. He received a community order with 150 hours of unpaid work and must wear an alcohol abstinence monitoring tag for 120 days.

ROLAND HOLMAN, 67, of Crossways, Woodley, admitted breaching a restraining order by contacting a woman by WhatsApp and phone. Charges said he phoned the woman and asked for money and to ‘collect his vehicle’. Separately, he breached the order by ‘entering and damaging the family home’. He received a community order with a 90 days’ worth of what was referred to in court registers simply as a ‘programme’.

JOEY KENNY, 34, of Ashburton Lane, Hook Norton, pleaded guilty to driving a VW Golf on Rose Hill Road, Oxford, in January while over the drug drive limit for cannabis. He was fined £232, banned from driving for a year and was ordered to pay £178 in costs and surcharge.

NEIL GRISBROOKE, 37, of Bradstocks Way, Sutton Courtenay, admitted driving a Vauxhall Corsa on Wallingford Street, Wantage, in April while he was banned from driving, over the drink-drive limit and uninsured. Tests showed he had 46mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, around one-and-a-half times the legal drink driving limit. He was banned from driving for 1,512 days, and given a community order with 150 hours of unpaid work, 10 probation days and a 12 month alcohol rehabilitation requirement. He must pay £85 in costs to the CPS.

CHRISTOPHER ALLEN, 58, of Stallpits Road, Shrivenham, pleaded guilty to drink driving a Ford Transit on High Street, Shrivenham, in April. Tests showed he had 45mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 45. He was fined £1,300, banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay £605 in costs and surcharge.

CANE WILLIAMS, 22, of Review Road, Brent, pleaded guilty to stealing TV box sets from HMV in Cornmarket, Oxford, on May 10. The films were worth almost £60. He received a 12 month conditional discharge.

LAURA SHUGAR, 31, of North Drive, Grove, admitted racially aggravated threatening behaviour and assaulting a police officer by beating him. Both incidents happened in Wantage on August 12 last year. She received a community order with a mental health treatment requirement and must pay £100 in compensation.

WILLIAM FREE, 42, of Leach Road, Bicester, to assaulting a woman in Bicester in August last year. He was given a community order with 120 hours of unpaid work, must pay £120 in compensation and complete up to 30 probation sessions. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim or going to Blenheim Drive, Bicester, until May 2025. He must pay £214 in costs and surcharge.
