Blackbird Bar battled to a 5-4 win at Berinsfield Community Centre in Section 1 of the ladies' league in the Greene King Oxford & District Darts Association.

Wins from Rose Collins, Chris Thompson and Shaz Thompson saw Blackbird race into a 3-0 lead.

But Berinsfield hit back to level the match, with Gemma Dumper among their winners.

However, Blackbird took the pairs 2-1 to snatch victory.

In Section 2, Florence Park scraped a 5-4 victory at Team Monarch.

Lyn Padbury, Doris Witchowski and Sue Simmonds were among the victors' singles winners.

Ann Marks hit a maximum 180 in Donnington Community Centre A's 5-4 win at Crown House.

Rose Swanton was also among the winners for Donnington, who took the pairs to clinch victory.

In Section 3, Three Horseshoes won the last two pairs games to snatch a 5-4 victory at Cowley Workers Social Club B.

Tracy Williams, Helen El-Mahdy and Sheila Ward shone in the singles for Three Horseshoes.
