An Oxford bus service was cancelled yesterday afternoon (June 13) after someone drew ‘inappropriate graffiti’ on the vehicle.
The incident affected the 3.57pm ConnectorX2 service from Oxford.
A statement by the bus operator Thames Travel said: “Due to vandalism on a vehicle the 3.57pm ConnectorX2 from Oxford has been unable to operate.

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused.”

A spokesperson for the bus company confirmed that the vandalism was a ‘small bit of inappropriate graffiti’ and that the decision was made to take the bus out of service to clean it.
Thames Travel confirmed that the incident had not been reported to the police.
