The union which represents junior doctors has announced fresh strike action at Oxford University Hospitals from tomorrow.
The British Medical Association and other unions are starting a new swathe of industrial action from tomorrow at 7am, June 14, which will last until Saturday, June 17.
Planned elective inpatient and day procedures have been re-scheduled but the hospitals will continue to provide urgent and emergency care.

Sara Randall, chief operating officer at Oxford University Hospitals, said: “We recognise and respect the right of our staff to take part in lawful industrial action, and have been working with our staff and union partners to ensure the safety of our patients, and the wellbeing of our staff.
"We have tried-and-tested plans in place to minimise the impact of the industrial action on our services, which we have put in place during other times of industrial action throughout this year.
"As always, our priority is to continue to provide safe care for our patients, and anyone with a rescheduled appointment will be rebooked to the earliest possible date.”

A spokesman for the hospitals said all patients who are affected have been contacted directly and patients with the highest clinical needs would be prioritised.
The public has been reminded that emergency departments are only for genuine emergencies and GPs are the best places to go for anything which is non-urgent.
