A major pharmacy chain is set to close several of its branches across Oxfordshire by tomorrow (June 13).
Lloyds Pharmacy will shut all of its branches located in Sainsbury’s supermarkets across the county.
This includes shops in Banbury, Bicester, Didcot, Heyford Hill, Kidlington and Witney.

In total, 237 Lloyds Pharmacies in Sainsbury’s supermarkets will shut their doors for good across the UK tomorrow (June 13).
The chain previously announced that these branches would close by the end of 2023 but the date has now been brought forward.
Sainsbury’s is yet to confirm how it will fill the spaces left by the pharmacies, but it is expected that this will vary from store to store.
But Sainsbury’s is not the only supermarket chain closing its in-store pharmacies.
In January this year Asda announced that it would be shutting down seven of its 254 pharmacies.
These closures are expected to take place in Southampton, Seaham, Feltham, Blackburn, Adel, West Bradford and Weston-Super-Mar.
