A popular pub is being reopened this autumn by Daylesford Organic after a restoration by the group's architects.
The restaurant business owned by Carole Bamford, who also owns Daylesford Farm, owns a number of successful modern country inns.
It bought the The Maytime Inn at Asthall near Burford and The Fox in Lower Oddington, Gloucestershire in 2021 while Lady Bamford acquired her first pub, the Wild Rabbit in Kingham, in 2013.
The group also owns Daylesford Village, a hamlet of 15 luxurious cottages in the 2,500 acre Daylesford Estate.
The Bell in Charlbury, which has 50 covers, will serve a selection of hearty pub classics with ingredients from local suppliers and growers as well as from the farm at Daylesford Organic.
The bar will remain the heart of the pub, crafted using ash from the Daylesford Estate, while inviting inglenook fireplaces will offer a welcome spot by the fire.

The Bell Barn, an additional 30-cover open-plan dining room, will be used as a restaurant and will be available for private hire for parties and gatherings with its own open wood-fired grill at the centre.
Diners will also be able to sit in the orchard garden which is just under an acre in size and planted with apple trees and has a stream running through it.
Twelve bedrooms sit above the pub and The Barn, including a two-bedroom suite for families.
Each bedroom combines comfort with exceptional attention to detail, drawing inspiration from the neighbouring ancient woodland.
The fabric of the building has been restored by Daylesford’s in-house team of architects.
Original features have been sympathetically restored, and local and recycled materials were used for the construction to minimise impact on the environment.
Daylesford said: "The 17th century inn has always been a place for locals to gather and remains a welcoming space for the community, families and visitors to the area."
