A lorry has caught fire on the A34 near the Milton Park exit.

Motorists are currently experiencing delays of up to 45 minutes on the A34, after a lorry caught fire.

The incident took place on the A34 at the A4130 northbound, close by to the Milton Interchange.

The fire forced the closure of lane one and motorists are experiencing severe delays.

It is understood the fire has since been extinguished.

Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service, Thames Valley Police and South Central Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
