Banbury drum teacher Ian Aguado-Bush plans to throw himself off the roof of Oxford United's Kassam Stadium.
But it's all in a good cause, as the 28-year-old will be raising money for Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Mr Aguado-Bush, of Bodicote Chase, Banbury, will abseil 114 ft down the south stand of the stadium to raise £300 for the charity.
He said: "Jumping off the top of this stadium is possibly the scariest thing I have ever done, but I'm hoping that by taking part in this challenge I can raise enough money to pay for a whole night shift for a local Marie Curie nurse, as I know what a wonderful job Marie Curie nurses do in supporting not only the patient but the family too."
Marie Curie is looking for more people to join Mr Aguado-Bush on Saturday, July 12.
The Marie Curie Nursing Service makes it possible for people seriously ill with cancer to stay in their own home at the end of their life, rather than in a hospital.
