A man has admitted touching a woman’s chest – over clothing – in a Jericho cocktail bar.
Parham Safarimooki, 28, appeared before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday (June 1), when he pleaded guilty to a single count of sexual assault by touching.
He touched a woman’s chest in the Duke of Cambridge cocktail bar on June 5 last year.
Defending, Gareth James said: “This is a gentleman of previous good character. It seems to be an incident in a public house where he has been talking to the young lady and has misinterpreted some of what was said.”
Judge Michael Gledhill KC adjourned the case for the preparation of a pre-sentence report by the probation service.
“I’m making no promises as to what the sentence will be in this case,” the judge told Safarimooki.
“Back here on June 29 and you will know your fate then.”
Safarimooki, of Sheriff’s Drive, Oxford, was granted bail.
