A man was threatened with a knife during a robbery in Oxford.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident in Botley.
The incident happened at around 4.15pm on Sunday, May 21, as a man walked along the West Way, near the A34 underpass.
He was approached by a man who threatened him with a knife.
The suspect then rifled through the man’s pockets and took some money from him.
The offender ran off towards Curtis Industrial Estate.
The victim was not injured.
Police want to trace two motorists who stopped to help the victim.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Craig Smithies, based Abingdon police station, said: “We are investigating this robbery and are appealing for the public’s assistance.
“We are aware that two motorists pulled over to offer assistance to the victim, but then drove off in the direction the offender ran off in.
“We would ask that these two motorists please come forward as we believe they may have witnessed this incident and have information.
