Facilities management company Calber has purchased the long leasehold interest in units 14, 15 and 16 at The Glenmore Centre on Grove Technology Park. The sale brings to an end the company's search for suitable premises for its move from Milton Park in Abingdon.
Calber is a privately-owned, family-managed company. Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH), with joint agents Haslams and VSL & Partners, completed the sale of 4,000 sq ft of industrial space on behalf of Glenmore Commercial Estates.
This latest sale follows that of unit 7 (1,500 sq ft), which was purchased by Talking Sense, a network cabling and installation company.
Duncan May, associate director at LSH's Oxford office, said: "It's very promising to see occupiers investing in property, as Calber has done at The Glenmore Centre. It proves there is still confidence in the local market.
"There are very few opportunities to buy high-quality business and industrial units in the area and the attractiveness of this scheme in terms of price, quality and location, is underlined by the fact that only nine units remain available."
