GARY EMPSON, 41, of Home Close, Wootton, admitted driving in Eynsham Road, Oxford, on September 12 last year while disqualified and over the drug-drive limit for cannabis. He was banned from driving for three years and given a community order with a mental health treatment requirement and up to 30 rehabilitation activity requirement days. He was also ordered to pay £199 in costs and surcharge.

SAMUEL WALLINGTON, 27, of Main Street, Clanfield, admitted driving a Renault Clio on Ducklington Lane, Witney, last November while over the drug-drive limit for ketamine. He was fined £400, banned from the roads for a year and ordered to pay £245 in costs and surcharge.

DAWID BARANOWSKI, 32, of Wimborne Avenue, Banbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Mercedes C class in Wimbourne Avenue, Banbury, on December 18 last year while over the drug driving limit for cannabis and without a valid licence. He was fined £415 and banned from driving for 14 months. The magistrates ordered he pay £151 in costs and surcharge.

SIOBHAN KELLY, 34, of Harvest Way, Witney, pleaded guilty to assaulting a police officer and two civilians in Witney last September. She was ordered to pay £100 in compensation and complete 120 hours of unpaid work. Kelly must wear an alcohol abstinence monitoring tag for 60 days and pay a £114 victim surcharge.

LEWIS CYPRIEN, 31, of Westlands Drive, Oxford, pleaded guilty to 16 counts of shoplifting from Tesco in Oxford, taking alcohol and food worth hundreds of pounds. The magistrates gave him eight weeks’ imprisonment suspended for a year and a half, with a six month drug rehabilitation order. He must pay £500 in compensation to Tesco.

DUDLEY STEIN, 30, of Coniston Avenue, Oxford, admitted three counts of shoplifting from Waitrose. He stole alcohol, steak and chicken. The district judge ordered he pay £100 in compensation and gave him a 12 month exclusion order banning him from Waitrose in London Road, Headington, for a year. Stein separately admitted two assaults on a woman in Oxford, with the judge imposing 20 weeks’ imprisonment suspended for two years and giving him 100 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order bans him from contacting his victim or going to Wood Farm until further order.

DANIEL PORTNALL, 37, of Springfield Gardens, Chinnor, admitted threatening behaviour and doing £1,003-worth of damage to a Nissan Duke in Lower Road, Chinnor, in February. He was ordered to pay slightly more than £1,103 in compensation and given a 12 month conditional discharge.

HELGA REYNOLDS, 52, of the Oxford Canal, Banbury, pleaded guilty to assaulting a man by beating him on April 13. The court record noted that she entered her guilty plea on a basis, denying using a stick in the assault. She received a six month conditional discharge and must pay £111 in costs and surcharge.

GREGORY WATKINS, 45, of George Street, Banbury, admitted assaulting a police constable in Poundland in the town on April 13. He was ordered to pay £150 in compensation.
