Plans to build five modern homes near a care home in Wallingford have been submitted to South Oxfordshire District Council.
Developers Manorwood Homes want to build the two, three, and four-bedroom properties in the land off Winterbrook road to the southern edge of the town.
The new homes would be opposite the Waterside Court Care Home if the application was to be approved by the planning authority.

The houses are described in the planning statement as "a series of simple pavilions of layers".
They would be accessed by a single lane and a bus stop less than 200m from the site, which is around one km from the town centre.
The plans will undergo a consultation period until June 10 before the target decision date of July 10.
