Santiago Chardonnay 2006, Central Valley: Very clean, unusually fresh-lime fruited chardonnay that is delightfully crisp and unoaked, with hints of pineapple and tropical fruit. Superb with fish or white meats.
In Situ Winemaker's Selection Syrah 2006, Aconcagua Valley: This is a syrah to give many a good Rhône a run for its money. Perfect with grilled meat, this wine has lovely smoky roasted fruit with undertones of fresh plums beneath. Delicious!
