A driver who raced away from police, hit a telegraph pole then escaped on foot through a field.
Thames Valley Police officers from the Roads Policing Unit signalled for the driver of a blue Audi TT to stop at around 11am, yesterday, Saturday, May 20.
The driver failed to stop and made off at speed between the A44 Yarnton and Yarnton Road, Cassington.

We're appealing for witnesses to an incident of dangerous driving in Yarnton in which the driver of a blue Audi TT failed to stop for police.

The Audi collided with a telegraph pole before coming to a stop in a field. The driver then ran away.
He is described as a mixed race man, aged in his 20s, wearing a light coloured top and dark bottoms.

He made off down Bell Close holding his ribs.
Investigating officer Sergeant Joe Clamp of the Roads Policing Unit, based at Bicester, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this incident of dangerous driving or who may have dash-cam of the incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police."
