A coordinated clean-up operation took place at the site yesterday which took around one hour to complete.
The city council, which owns the land, said 20 bags of domestic rubbish and several gas bottles were cleared.
The clean-up effort was handled by Oxford Direct Services, an entity owned by the city council company that maintains housing stock, parks and streets.
An Oxford City Council spokesman said: "Following the departure of the travellers last night ODS have this morning cleared away around 20 bags of domestic rubbish and several gas bottles in an operation that lasted about an hour."
It comes as the 32-year-old woman arrested has been released pending further enquiries by police.
Thames Valley Police also told the Oxford Mail on Monday that one count of criminal damage had been reported after the recreation ground lock was broken to gain entry to the site.
The force confirmed it received an additional report of anti-social behaviour on Tuesday.

A Thames Valley Police spokesman said: “We received a report of an unauthorised encampment on New Marston Recreation Ground on Croft Road, Oxford, at just after 6pm on Sunday.
“Initially 12 caravans were involved, as well as a report of criminal damage as the lock had been cut to gain entry.
“We have been working with our partners at Oxford City Council, who are responsible for the land, to resolve the situation, eviction notices and codes of conduct were served.
“We received a further report of anti-social behaviour on Tuesday with more caravans reportedly arriving on Wednesday. Following police and partner engagement they all left by 6.20pm on Thursday."
Marston councillor Mary Clarkson let residents know on Thursday night that the travellers had left the site with police confirming all caravans had left the park by 6.20pm, three days after an eviction notice was served.
An eviction notice was served on Monday for them to leave the site by 10am on Tuesday.
One resident reported that there were 15 to 16 on the field on Wednesday with it climbing up to 18 on Thursday morning.
The incident comes following a similar occupation this time last May when 20 caravans moved onto Showman Field on Marsh Lane in Marston.
