A ‘suspicious male’ has been caught on camera trying to break into homes in a small Oxfordshire village in the early hours of the morning.
Doorbell footage captured the offender as he tried to open the front doors of several houses in Sutton Courtenay between midnight and 2am this morning (May 18).
The man tried to enter homes in Spring Field Way and the surrounding roads.

Thames Valley Police’s Priority Crime Team Abingdon have asked homeowners to review CCTV and doorbell footage from the time period to help them identify the man.
The police also appealed for witnesses to come forward.
A spokesperson said: “If you have any footage or relevant information you can get in touch by calling 101 quoting reference number 43230217144.”
