Two Oxfordshire homes which were burgled just hours apart were both sprayed with cleaning fluid by the offenders.
Both homes in Wheatley were broken into through downstairs windows in a two-and-a-half-hour period yesterday, (Wednesday, May 17).
A property in Ladder Hill was broken into between 11am and 1:30pm when offenders gained entry by forcing a rear downstairs window.

They then conducted a messy search and sprayed cleaning fluid inside the property.
It is unknown at this time what has been stolen.
Police have appealed for footage or relevant information about the burglary and the crime reference number is 43230215911.
At some point between noon and 1:30pm, a second property in Church Road was broken into through a via a rear ground floor window, which the offenders forced out of its frame.
They also then conducted a messy search and sprayed cleaning fluid.

In both incidents, police have requested that the public review CCTV and doorbell footage in the area.
